Jon Jasper

Chairman

Jon began his career in 1970, after graduating with honors in his chemical engineering class at the University of Kentucky. After being heavily recruited by Exxon, he went to work for their East Texas production division, Humble Oil Company, where he worked for six years. After Exxon, Jon worked for several engineering and construction companies including The Randall Corporation, F.P. Ross, Refrigeration Engineering Company (RECO), and PetroFac, Inc., which brought him back to East Texas where his career began. In March 1992, he and long-time friend, Charles Lassiter founded Engineering, Procurement & Construction, Inc. (EPC Inc.) in an effort to refocus their endeavors in the domestic engineering and gas plant construction business. After nearly forty years in the industry, Charles retired in June 2011, but Jon still enjoys his work and feels he has much to contribute to employees, clients and the larger hydrocarbon industry. In 2016 Jon decided to reorganize and expand the current company to better meet the needs of its clients. He hopes to remain active in the gas plant engineering and construction business for as long as possible. In his leisure time, Jon enjoys reading, watching Kentucky Wildcat basketball and spending time at the lake with his wife, children, grandchildren and dogs.
