CEO of the Denver Institute for Faith & Work
Ross Chapman recently joined Denver Institute for Faith & Work as CEO after founding and leading For Evansville. In 2015, he launched that work at the request of a local business CEO to help transform the southern Indiana community into a place where every person experiences love and gives love, prioritizes the holistic well-being of all people, and has work that provides community value and individual purpose. The mission is carried out primarily by bringing together churches, nonprofits, and community leaders to collaboratively address systemic challenges.
Ross describes his calling as an animating desire to see the Church bless the city through the everyday lives of Christians in workplaces, neighborhoods, and families and through the visible unity of local churches.
He has been married to Candace since 2010 and they have three boys: William (8), Pierce (7), and Beckett (4).
Executive Director of Kingdom Capital Network & Director of Pivot Leadership Group
Steve Teng currently serves as on the staff of two Austin area non-profits. As a Director of Pivot Leadership Group, Steve helps executives and early/mid-career leaders alike to integrate their faith and work while also overseeing a program that supports and catalyzes company-based Christian communities.
As Executive Director of Kingdom Capital Network, Steve founded an effort alongside a diverse coalition of Christian leaders in Austin to provide affordable working capital, and technical and relational support to blue-collar small business owners through the Church. Both initiatives share the common theme of activating the Body of Christ at work.
While his career began in finance, his curiosity and entrepreneurial passion took him to catalyzing and working alongside social enterprises. Prior to his current work, Steve was a Pastor at The Austin Stone Community Church. He is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in Finance & Business Administration serving with the conviction that good businesses are good for the world.
