In 1992, Jon Jasper realized he wanted a better place to work—a place that honored God and people and created excellent solutions for the hydrocarbon industry. And it was his desire for such a place to exist in East Texas that led him to found EPC. For 29 years, he was faithful to dedicate his business to the Lord while caring for his employees.

Once his children joined the team, the name became Jasper Ventures, Inc. and the heartbeat for serving employees, clients, and community only grew stronger. Beyond Business was officially formed in 2017 to carry out this vision in a more intentional way. And that intentionality has a name: “Beyond Business.” And it has two aspects:

First, Beyond Business is the culture of Jasper Ventures. It’s what we do to love and care for our own employees, clients, and community. But it doesn’t stop there. Beyond Business helps other businesses and organizations learn to provide that same love and care to their employees, clients, and communities.
